Health Care Center

What if our comprehensive well-being were truly prioritized?

Today our public health system is unable to fulfill the health care needs of the majority of the population. It is overwhelmed with patients and lacks sufficient funding, which affects the conditions of the infrastructure and medical attention. The entire system rests on the backs of the health care workers, who work under enormous strain for meager wages. Patient care also suffers and only the most urgent needs can be met. Only those who are economically privileged or have jobs with good health insurance can access private health care.

What is needed is a public health care system, based on solidarity and oriented towards the community’s needs, a system in which we can collectively decide what type of care we want and need. We need a system in which access to medication and complex treatments are also free, without any type of discrimination due to class, gender, or race.
